Hazel

It's hard to believe but my Hazel Basil is 18 months already. Since I haven't updated much I figured I'd give a run down of the things she's been up too.

First thing is about 3 months ago her hair had finally grown out and I give her a hair cut so it was all chin lenght. I foolishly left my scissors on the counter over night and the next day while i was folding laundry Michael decided to give her a hair cut too. All my baby girl's curly hair was chopped off. I cut a cute pixie cut but I have to say I was crying inside. But in the last few months her hair has grown out pretty fast a fuller and her curls have stayed!

She is a little spit fire and has no problem saying her mind, with her mouth or her fist. She can say; Dada, Momma, Joshua, Michael, ball, kitty, milk, down, up, no, get down, hey, thank you, baby, and hi. She loves getting dirty and eating dirt. But she also loves dressing up and wearing jewelry. tomboy meets girly girl.

She loves playing with babys, blocks and reading books. She loves her Dada and gives kisses and hugs alot. Thank heavens for little girls!

Fall Leaf Fun with Papa

One of the joys of growing up with 5 acres with a lot of trees is in the fall you can make big piles of leaves. I'm so glad my kids can enjoy it too. Plus with my dad's leaf mower attached to the john deer it takes no time at all to have a huge pile. This one was over the kids head. We love fall!

Blakers Bash

Every year my nephew Blake has a bash for a his friends a family. This years theme was nascar. The boys were super excited to build there own race car out of a cardboard box and see how fast they could race. The dad's were the pit crew (josh was a frequent visitor) and the mom's were the fans ( complete with signs). The boys had a blast and received trophies for there racing. Michael decided he would be a true Victor and drink from his trophy!

First Day of School 2011

Josh's 7th birthday

For Josh's 7th birthday we decided to let him take one friend with him on his day at the Mall of America. Since his two great loves right now are underwater animals and legos, the mall of america was a hit. We let him and Jackson play at lego land and go to the sea life aquarium and end with dinner at the rainforest cafe. The boys were in heaven. There were som many animals to see and some many things to build. Happy birthday to our firstborn!
