Santa Time

This year's picture with Santa from Kurt's office party. Hazel didn't want anything to do with santa but loved that he gave her a gift anyways. 3 out of 4 isn't bad!

Random things my kids say

JOSHUA

Me: Josh why do you have three shirts on?
J: Because I saw that a meteor was going to hit.
Me: (puzzled) So why do you have three shirts on?
J: So they would protect me. They knock out everyone, you know!
Kurt: You realized if it's be enough too need three shirts, three shirts won't matter.

MICHAEL

Josh: Stop being so annoying!
M: The only thing that is annoying is when Mommy talks!

- Love you too!

(Michael and Hazel were watching Team Umizoomi on the TV)
Me: Michael you really know your shapes. Good Job!
M: I know, I do them all the time at school. Mr. Durand is so silly. He doesn't know his shapes, he asked us all the time to tell him what they are.


Kurt: So how do you feel about not having nap time anymore?
M: Mr. Durand has to hurry to teach us and so we can't have nap time anymore

- I told his teacher Mr. Durand about this and he laughed and said he never realized the kids would think he didn't know anything because he asked them what things are!

(we were working on his homework about vowels)
M: Did you know e's are really bossy
Me: what?
M: they push around the other vowels and make them say their names.


HAZEL

H: Cinderella says "NO", Ariel says "NO", Belle says "NO", Aurora says"NO".

-I guess all princess are as stubborn as she is.

Myrtle Beach

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kurt was asked to speak at a conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina last month. When he got this job in January we knew it would involve some traveling and we agreed that I could pick one business trip a year to tag along on. So when we found out he was going to a resort in Myrtle Beach, we decided this would be my trip. We stayed at the The Dunes at Myrtle Beach Marriott resort. It was awesome! The resort has a private beach, 3 restaurants (one was pool side), an amazing pool, hammocks and Adirondack chairs for lounging and a spa. Perfect for 4 days of relaxation.

 

 

We were blessed that we could go without the kids, because my sister, the Calls and my parents all watched them for the 4 days we were gone.
